A1 were a British-Norwegian boy band who hit big around the turn of the millennium. The group had four members — Ben Adams, Christian Ingebrigtsen, Mark Read, and Paul Marazzi.
They scored a string of top ten hits between 1999 and 2002. Their biggest moment was 'Same Old Brand New You' which went to Number 1 in 2000. They won Best British Newcomer at the Brit Awards in 2001.
They split in 2002 when Paul Marazzi left due to health problems. They reformed in 2009.
