Far East Movement

With their 2010 single “Like a G6,” hip-hop and EDM group Far East Movement (or FM) became the first Asian-American group to top the Billboard Hot 100.

• High school friends Kev Nish, Prohgress, and J-Splif founded Far East Movement (originally Emcees Anonymous) in 2001.

• “Round Round,” a single from their 2006 debut album Folk Music, appeared on the soundtrack of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.
