Glass Tiger

The Canadian band Glass Tiger earned ’80s pop-rock immortality with their 1986 debut album, The Thin Red Line, and its first single, “Don’t Forget Me (When I’m Gone).” Cowritten and produced by Jim Vallance, the swinging-for-the-fences anthem features Bryan Adams on backing vocals and was a massive hit in the U.S.

and Canada.

Glass Tiger had coalesced just a few years before, in 1983, after vocalist Alan Frew linked up with other musicians in Newmarket, Ontario.
