British Nigerian singer and rapper Not3s broke through in 2016 with the viral single “Addison Lee,” named after the London car service he took to the studio.

• Although he began experimenting with hip-hop and dancehall in his youth, he didn’t start taking music seriously until 2016, when a run-in with the law put his priorities into perspective.

• A few months later, he issued his breakthrough Afroswing hit “Addison Lee,” which exploded on the internet and landed him a deal with Relentless Records.
