Regina Spektor

Indie singer-songwriter and classically trained pianist Regina Spektor is known for infusing her narrative songs with eclectic instrumentation and quirky vocal effects.

∙ Her 2003 LP Soviet Kitsch—featuring “Us,” the memorable opener from the film (500) Days of Summer—was named on NME’s Top 100 Greatest Albums of the Decade list.

∙ “Fidelity,” her breakthrough single, pushed Begin to Hope into the Billboard 200’s Top 20, and the LP won a spot on Rolling Stone’s list of the Top 50 Albums of 2006.
