Teddy Swims’ soaring, sonorous howls defy both gravity and genre.

Born Jaten Dimsdale in 1992 (outside Atlanta, GA), the singer-songwriter credits his father for introducing him to Al Green, but his influences have spread far and wide ever since.

Before going viral in 2019 with showstopping covers of Michael Jackson and Shania Twain, Dimsdale was tackling alt-rock, hair metal, and soul in four different bands.
